The academic journal for theses in business and management sciences

How does JUMS work?

Junior Management Science publishes the best Bachelor and Master theses in business and management sciences. Students can submit their thesis for free. After a first check by our department editors, the thesis will be scrutinised in a double-blind review process. Two experts in the field („Peers“) assess the paper independently. Both the thesis and the review results are anonymised, such that neither our reviewers nor the student know who their respective counterpart is („double-blind“).

We publish the best theses quarterly in our open-access journal. Through this, the papers can be accessed for free from all over the world and are citable as well. Our Advisory Editorial Board, comprised of over 50 professors from over 30 universities from five countries, guarantees the scientific quality of our review process and the published papers. What do students say?

“I cannot recommend submitting your thesis to JUMS enough. My master’s thesis was published and has already been cited. Now, as a research assistant, this benefits me and earns me trust and acknowledgment among senior researchers”.

Nadine Chochoiek, Technische Universität München.

“Submission to JUMS generates no costs and does not require any time-consuming adjustments to the work. In any case, it provides valuable feedback on the way you work. It has also given me my first scientific publication and my first lecture at a scientific conference”.

Tom Zeissler, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.
