In this paper, we investigate how blockchain technology can be encompassed in the innovation process and bring huge benefits to the patent system as well as copyrights, trade secrecy, defensive publications, and open innovation. We further explore the institutional support for the technology necessary for a successful implementation, in form of legislations and governmental projects. We find out that numerous authorities have started voting favorable legislations and recognizing the technology as a valid public ledger. Despite the prominent literature discussing the relationship between revenue sharing in team sports and competitive balance, evaluations of specific distribution systems are limited. Hence, very little is known about the repercussions of different allocation keys on leagues and clubs. Contributing to the sports economics literature, this thesis examines the key decision factors that influence the effectiveness of revenue sharing systems, and analyses the feasibility of the Bundesliga\u2019s reformed system.<\/p>\n<p>It starts with defining the new system, before introducing its background and a brief history of revenue sharing in the Bundesliga. Then this thesis sketches the most important concepts in sports economics, i.e. competitive balance and demand, before pointing out interdependencies between them. Afterwards, revenue sharing is introduced as a means to enhance competitive balance, including a brief description of alternative mechanisms. To compare the new model externally, revenue sharing models of other major sports leagues are presented. Finally, it evaluates the Bundesliga\u2019s current situation in order to comprehend the league\u2019s potential objectives. The thesis discusses possibilities on how revenue sharing can help the Bundesliga achieve those objectives, and ultimately assesses the new system\u2019s feasibility in doing so. After modelling the league\u2019s potential reaction to different revenue sharing models, its result is that the four-pillar model features several useful mechanisms, but does not give sufficient weight to them. The thesis\u2019 assessment consequently is that the reformed system can be generally seen as positive, with room for further enhancements. J\u00fcngste Studien identifizieren die Reputation einer Onlinefirma als wichtigen Einflussfaktor auf das Vertrauen gegen\u00fcber einem Onlineunternehmen, auf die Reduzierung von Datenschutzbedenken sowie des wahrgenommenen Risikos. Diese Faktoren f\u00f6rdern die Bereitschaft zu kaufen und private Daten preiszugeben \u2013 zwei zentrale Erfolgsfaktoren von Unternehmen im Onlinebereich. Diese Arbeit widmet sich der Frage, welche Aspekte die Reputation von Onlinefirmen formen und ob sich diese vom Offlinebereich unterscheiden. In Ermangelung eines ad\u00e4quaten Modells f\u00fcr Reputation im Onlinebereich wurde sich des bew\u00e4hrten Corporate Reputation Modells nach Schwaiger (2004) bedient, das traditionell f\u00fcr den Offlinebereich entwickelt wurde. Auf Basis von qualitativen Interviews und durch eine umfangreiche Literaturanalyse wurde dieses Modell um online-spezifische Indikatoren erg\u00e4nzt. Das neu entstandene Modell wurde in einer quantitativen Onlineumfrage sowohl anhand Online- als auch Offlinefirmen getestet. Eine explorative Faktorenanalyse gibt Aufschluss \u00fcber die zugrunde liegende Faktorenstruktur. Die PLS-SEM Analyse zeigt, dass im Onlinebereich vor allem eine gro\u00dfe Kundenbasis und Empfehlungen von Freunden und Bekannten auf die Bildung der Reputation positiv Einfluss nehmen. Due to comparably low corporate taxation, Switzerland is presumably a suitable location for tax planning strategies. The thesis at hand examines income shifting among multinational enterprises headquartered in Switzerland in a quantitative manner and provides indirect evidence of income shifting. Using a large panel dataset of foreign subsidiaries of Swiss parent firms and employing a fixed-effects regression approach, the estimated semi-elasticity of pre-tax income with respect to the statutory tax rate differential between the parent firm and the subsidiary is -1.458. This estimate is highly significant and larger than the estimates in comparable papers using European samples. Additionally, this thesis shows that income shifting activities between the parent firm and the subsidiary increase with the parent\u2019s ownership share in the subsidiary and the firm size of the subsidiary. However, the implementation of more sophisticated information systems also changes the relationship between the manager and the management accountant. The aim of this thesis is to determine if improved relationship quality between the manager and the management accountant is one mechanism by which integrated information systems improve the process performance in management accounting. I used structural equation modeling for a sample of 406 valid respondents consisting of management accountants from various industries. Dennoch spaltet sich die Meinung der Wissenschaft, sobald es zu der Frage kommt, ob Kulturunterschiede die ex-post M&amp;A-Performance positiv oder negativ beeinflussen. Dieser Hintergrund wirft die Frage auf, inwiefern die Kultur ein Motiv f\u00fcr die Auswahl der Zielunternehmen darstellt. In dem pr\u00e4sentierten Modell wird Kulturdifferenz in drei Dimensionen (F\u00fchrungsstil, Ergebnisorientierung und Innovation) anhand von Gesch\u00e4ftsberichtsdaten quantifiziert. Der Vergleich von kapitalmarktorientierten Firmen aus Deutschland und Frankreich vor Abschluss einer Transaktion zeigt, dass nur geringe Differenzen zwischen den zusammenschlie\u00dfenden Firmen existieren. In der Stichprobe scheint das Risiko beim Aufeinandertreffen zweier Kulturen von gr\u00f6\u00dferer Bedeutung f\u00fcr Manager zu sein als die Chance Synergien durch Lerneffekte zu realisieren.
